Pumpkin Patch Visit

We visited our first pumpkin patch last week as a family. We followed all the signs, out into the country to find this... (see pic below). This was the pumpkin patch that was advertised in our area. We laughed and had to take a picture of the 12 pumpkins in front of a house. We soon found another patch, with only reject pumpkins left. We took a special likeness to the odd shaped pumpkins, so we got our 3 and walked away happy!

Angel Mother

There is a reason we call her Angel Mother....

* Read, played and read some more to Avery

* Sewed new pillows and curtains

* Cut my hair

* Tried wearing bright red lipstick with me

* Bought me a few fun items, in memory of "back to school" shopping

* Babysat

* Painted my toe nails

* Cleaned out my closet

* Helped decorate my house

The list can go on and on....

My wonderful mom came to visit last week and we are missing her already! Love you mama!

4th of July

Happy 4th of July!!

We enjoyed fireworks last night with some of our friends! It was a miracle that Ryan wanted to go, since he is a party pooper when it comes to fireworks, parades, concerts, etc. Sadly, Avery is just like her dad and was only entertained for a few minutes and then wanted to move onto the next activity. (Secretly, I'm just glad she didn't cry).

Busy Summer!

A few things we have been up to:

* Grandpa White's 75th Birthday Party "Reunion"! It was a great trip! Swimming, playing, hiking, ATVing, Real Deals shopping and being with family! My grandpa is such a wonderful and great man!

* Playing in Vegas with my parents, before and after the reunion! We visited the aquarium, relaxed and sorted all the great clothes for Avery from my awesome aunts! I love being with my parents.

* Teaching summer swim lessons

* Youth Conference (Ry and I are both in youth callings)

* Ultimate Frisbee and golf for Ryan

* Enjoying our new house

Trip to Utah

We got to go to Utah to celebrate Heather and Brad's wedding!  Congrats!! It was great to see family and friends!  A big shot out to Mamma for all the babysitting and our Aunt Nicci and Uncle B for the warm bed, food and fun!

Easter

Hooray for Easter!  It was low key and perfect.  I would have hid eggs for Ryan, but he's not into that :)  We all got great things from the Easter Bunny.  Ryan wanted a pet- so he got a fake, plastic gold fish, and I got some Barbie stickers as seen in Avery's basket.

April

The snow has finally melted, so we ventured outside!  I love this hair.  The wind caught it just right, to make the classic "wave"

New House

Ryan and I are buying our first house.  We close in a month!  Buying a house is so exciting and intimidating!  It's a brand new spec home and we still got to pick the carpet and appliances.  Here's a little preview... if you want to see more, you need to come to WI and VISIT!!

Holidays

I am so delayed!  I will get better in my posts!  I wanted to share our fun holidays.

We had an awesome Thanksgiving with some great friends.  It was perfect, relaxing and great food! 

We went to Houston for Christmas and New Years.  It was fun to see all the Camp Family.  We were all spoiled rotten!  Avery was also blessed over the holiday- she looked like a little angel. It was wonderful.

Viva Las Vegas! Avery took her first airplane ride in November to visit Nana and Grandpa Stoker. We had a wonderful time. A few highlights of our trip were:

Date with my dad to see Barry Manilow
Saw Mama Mia (I'm not into musicals, but it was good!)
Went to the Shark Reef Aquarium
Played with extended family
Visit from Pilk and Dustin
Lots of baby love!!!

So, my adorable mom was standing with all the limo and taxi drivers holding her sign, so we could find them.

Hooray for warm Las Vegas weather- the snow is already falling in WI!!
